Epifanes Underwater Primer is a bituminous underwater coating reinforced with aluminium providing a tough impermeable film . For the underwater protection of wood, steel, fibreglass or aluminium. Also suited for repair and/or maintenance of existing (coal-)tar layers. For touch ups of full treatment prior to the application of antifouling paints.

Use

Wood – Steel : For general underwater protection. Maintenance and repair of existing coaltar systems and as barrier coat on traditional underwater systems and remaining antifouling leftovers. Recoatable after 7 days with classic and selfpolishing antifouling, Not suited for antifouling based on chlorinated rubber and/or vinyl.
