The installation of these remotely controlled ball valves allows you to close or open valves on your boat from a central location, an important safety feature and an added convenience. The valves can be powered fully open or fully closed in approximately 12-15 seconds and the rated power consumption is approximately 4-15 watts. Each electrically operated valve is supplied with a ball valve, a 12 or 24 volt remote control unit, and a status ⁄ switch panel. The ball valves are rated for diesel fuel and may be used as part of a diesel engine fuel system. The electric motor operating the valve is ignition protected and complies with the ISO 8846 directive.
