The VETUS air intake box, type MOFI 100, consists of a louvered aluminum air intake port (to be ordered separately) to the outside of the hull and a watertight plastic box with hose connector to the inside (1). Inside this “dorade box” is as plastic filter which is impermeable to rain or water droplets and prevents coarse dirt from entering the air inlet line as well
Vetus extraction ventilator type VENT178 can easily be connected to a MOFI100 ventilation box, by means of flexible air hose with 178mm internal diameter. This ventilation box with hose connections fits to aluminium louverd air vent type ASC100, which must be ordered separately. It cannot be used with the stainless steel version type SSV or SSVL(VETUS).
